What's For Dinner?

On Friday afternoon, Jerry will be at the Cedarville Farmers' Market. On Saturday, the All-Surprise Valley Yard Sale will keep Jerry at home, but stop by his place at 125 Water Street for some cool stuff and maybe even some produce. This weekend also marks the last regular weekend at the U-Pick, and in addition to wonderful onions, potatoes, and winter squash, we also welcome you to stop by and help yourself to an ear of roasted corn in between yard sales. While you're here, make sure you spend a bit of time harvesting some awesome produce from the farm - corn will be 4 ears for $1, and everything else is just 50 cents a pound!

After this weekend, Jerry will be visiting the Cedarville Farmers' Markets at least one more time, and the U-Pick will be open by appointment. Just give us a call at 279-2106 to see what's available, and we'll be glad to welcome you to the farm at a time that works for you! In the meantime, here's what organic goodness you'll find this weekend.

Friday afternoon in Cedarville, Jerry will be bringing:
  • Apricot Pies as only Angelina can make them!
  • Mysteriously delicious Zucchini Bread!
  • Nini's highly addictive dumplings!
  • Amazing Red, Walla Walla, Candy, and Copra onions
  • Cabbage, so sweet and delicious!
  • Kandy King corn, still sweet and delicious inside the husk!
  • Winter squash you simply can NOT resist!
  • ...and other delicious surprises!

At the U-Pick Farm this weekend, you'll find:
  • On Saturday, a complimentary ear of corn! You Pick, We Roast!
  • All weekend, all the sweet, delicious corn you can manage, just 4 for a dollar!
  • Wonderful onions, just for you!
  • Yukon Gold and Red Potatoes - time to stock up!
  • Winter squash, like a colorful treasure!
  • Red and green cabbage, too good to pass up!
  • Tomatoes - let them ripen or make fried green tomatoes - Yummy!
  • We still have a couple of cucumbers. They're perfect!
  • As usual, wonderful herbs, crystals, and big smiles from Carlos at the Farm Store on Sunday
